Buy A Brick (210x184x30mm.)

Athlone Boat Club is pleased with the tremendous support and interest from the public in supporting key landmark activities of late. This support will advance rowing in Athlone and surrounding midlands the likes our club has never previously experienced.

In 2020, we started the works to develop a new ‘state-of-the-art’ club house that promotes and enables greater capacity to grow specific competitive sporting and more general leisure rowing needs, which will stand the test of time. This ambitious development work was no easy task, as attested by countless fundraising initiatives by our members, committee and supporters, along with Government backed grants, we are on a good trajectory to achieve what some would call the impossible. The old boat club site, adjacent to the Custom Army Barracks in Athlone, has been completely transformed to a modern and eye-catching state-of-the -art rowing sports facility; this is particularly pleasing given huge challenges presented by COVID-19 pandemic that present opportunities.

We are now seeking patrons to buy a brick in this new development to help make this vision happen as we share this journey together. Your brick will proudly hold your family name, individual name or business name. We are asking for a one off payment of €200 or four payments of €50 in 2021/2022 season.

This brick will be placed on the 2nd floor of this new building overlooking the river Shannon. Names placed on the brick can’t be more than 20 characters long per line and 3 lines per brick. However, the club is not limited to this length and a higher pricing might be required should an individual or business require more spacing or a bigger brick.

Regatta & Golf Sponsorship 2023

Regatta & Golf Sponsorship 2023
The committee and members of Athlone Boat Club gratefully acknowledge and thank you for your generosity to date, without you’re support we would not have our beautiful club situation on the banks of the Shannon in the heart of Athlone.

We are excited to announce our upcoming regatta happening on 17th June at Coosan Point & our annual golf tournament happening on 7th Aug at Hodson Bay Golf Club.

We once again would like to appeal to your generosity to see if you would be interested in sponsoring us. Your sponsorship will cover both events. During the regatta, you will be a named race sponsor and we will endeavour to take photos of winning teams holding your name which we will send you a copy of. During the golf tournament your name will be allocated to a Tee or a green. Our photos from both events will be published to our Instagram and Facebook accounts

The rate of sponsorship is set at €100, which covers both events. However, all donations big or small will be accepted and acknowledged appreciatively.
